Fight Night - Two by Two

In this class we will explore how small skirmishes are spliced together and we will focus on how two individual fights can seamlessly flow together. Bring a friend or come solo and make new friends! We will use knives and unarmed techniques. Please bring water and clothing that you can move in. Instructed by David Saldivar, certified Advanced Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Choreographers. Dance Workshop #1 - Jazz / Dance Audition Prep! Taught by GTW’s Choreographer, Ariel Ross This FREE workshop will focus on the ins and outs, dos and don'ts of a standard dance workshop. Students will receive intensive instruction from theatre industry professionals while rehearsing Seussical JR. All students will have the opportunity to shine in a full production of the show with five performances at the end of the week. About The Show Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical extravaganza from Tony-winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!
